CV / Resume Template Access Instructions
The No Experience Template is hosted on Google Docs.
If you don't have a Google account you can download the template from Google Docs to your device by visiting the template page, clicking File in the top left-hand corner, followed by Download, and then selecting Microsoft Word.
I recommend editing the template on a computer/laptop if possible. It will make things easier for you.
To begin editing the template on Google Docs, follow these instructions:
Accessing The CV / Resume Template On Mobile
1. Install the Google Docs app on your device to edit the template.
Without the app, it will be more difficult to edit the template.
2. When you access the template on the Google Docs app, you need to make your own copy to begin editing the Template.
- Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner.
- Then click Share and Export.
- At the bottom of the menu click Make A Copy.
3. The template has guidelines for each section. To view the guidelines, click each heading highlighted in yellow.
If you are not signed in to a Google account, the guidelines for each section of your CV / Resume will appear at the bottom of the page.
Accessing The CV / Resume Template On Desktop
1. When you access the template, click Sign In on the top right-hand side of the page.
2. After you've signed in to your Google account, you need to make your own copy of the template to begin editing.
- Click File in the top left-hand corner.
- Then select Make A Copy.
- Save the template to Google Drive.
3. On the right-hand side of the template page, you will see guidelines for each section of your CV / Resume.
